1.1 INTRODUCTION
The SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program was created to make truly “Master Divers”. The SDI – Master Scuba Diver Development program requires a new Open Water student to have a total of four (4) SDI specialties and the Rescue Diver course, along with having a total of fifty (50) logged dives. SDI feels a diver will truly be “Master Scuba Diver” after this is accomplished.

1.2 WHO MAY TEACH
Who may teach this course?
1. An active SDI Instructor qualified to teach specialties.

1.3 GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Master Scuba Diver Certification procedures for students:
2. Completion of four (4) specialty courses.
3. Completion of fifty (50) logged dives.
4. Completion of the Rescue Diver course.
5. After the previous requirements are met and verified by an Instructor, the Instructor simply fills out a Diver Registration form or a Pre-paid Diver certification form to file for the Master Diver certification card.
